Mechanical Testing

Mechanical testing is one of the most fundamental type of materials testing used to understand the behavior of materials. FAN has over 30 years of expertise in performing and evaluating mechanical testing. We routinely perform mechanical testing on ferrous, non-ferrous materials, polymers, composites, leathers and fabrics. We conduct testing in accordance with the international and other national standards like ISO, ASTM, IS, BIS, BS in addition to testing to customer specific specifications.

FAN’s mechanical testing laboratory is equipped with 3 universal testing machines with capacities ranging from 100gms (0.2lbs) to up to 40,000 Kg (88000 lbs).

FAN is also equipped with a specialized computerized polymer and fabric mechanical testing machine with a long travel extensometer attachment.
